In all cases below, “we” and “us” are to be understood as meaning Viscient LLC and its partners, and “you”, “your” and “User” are to be understood as meaning the end-user client that the LeanOnMe platform supports on the Android application. Other specific titles are explicitly defined below.
In all cases below, “platform”, “software”, and “LeanOnMe” are to be understood as meaning the combined set of online software applications, online databases, and the Android application for LeanOnMe. “Web App” is to be understood as meaning the web-based application and tools that Account Manager and their Designees utilize to load information for you. “App” is to be understood as meaning the Android based application that you use to access your account data from your phone or tablet.
ROLES WITHIN THE PLATFORM
The Account Manager is the person who creates your account on the LeanOnMe platform. We allow your Account Manager to control all data on your account. This must be a person authorized by you to see and modify your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other data, and to manage any additional people that will be able to access your data on your behalf.
Designees are additional people authorized by your Account Manager to access and edit data on your behalf, and have fewer rights than the Account Manager.
Examples of possible Designees are siblings, case managers, clergy, teachers, social workers, parents, and guardians, or perhaps simply a trusted friend in your life. Designees may also be referred to as “Helpers”, “Case Managers”, “Supervisors”, or other similar terms. This combination of an assigned Account Manager and Designees helps to connect you with people in your life that can help you be successful.
Third parties are persons whose information may be loaded into the platform, much like loading contact information into any other contact management tool for the purpose of enabling calls, emails, navigation, and similar functions related to those third parties.
Viscient LLC Staff and its partners are people that have varying levels of administrative access to all data in the platform as required to operate the platform and company.
LIMITED ACCESS TO USER DATA
Account Managers and their Designees can see and edit your data. You should not select or allow Account Managers or Designees to be part of your LeanOnMe platform if you do not want them to see or edit your personal information. Do not upload any information to our platform that you are not willing to allow them (or us) to see. It is very important that you pick people you trust!
Once your Personally Identifiable Information and data are entered on your behalf, it will be used to provide you with services within the LeanOnMe platform. We call this the Curator/Consumer model, which is core to how the platform works. People you trust enter and curate your information – things you might not be capable of understanding, remembering, or entering yourself. Then you utilize (consume) that information via the LeanOnMe app in ways that are easier to access.
We will not sell or share your (the User’s) personally identifiable data to other parties. Our community of Users are particularly vulnerable to abuse, and as such, we are committed to utilizing your personally identifiable data to provide services to you through the LeanOnMe platform.
However, there is an exception for aggregate User data once Personally Identifiable Information has been removed, discussed further below.
LIMITED ACCESS TO ACCOUNT MANAGER DATA
Detailed Account Manager data cannot be seen by anyone but us, except as we expose pieces of information to the Designees and Users as necessary to operate the functionality of the platform.
However, there is an exception for aggregate Account Manager data once Personally Identifiable Information has been removed, discussed further below, as well as other exceptions for Account Managers as described below.
LIMITED ACCESS TO DESIGNEE DATA
We allow your Account Manager to see the personal information of Designees they have added to your account so that they can maintain the Designees’ information used to support you. Account Managers, agree to only enter Designee information into the system approved by the Designees themselves. Designees, by using this platform, understand and agree that the Account Manager that gave them access can see and edit their Designee information.
However, there is an exception for aggregate Designee data once Personally Identifiable Information has been removed, discussed further below, as well as other exceptions for Designees as described below.
LIMITED ACCESS TO THIRD PARTY DATA
Information entered by Account Managers and Designees may include information about third parties, meaning other important people and places in your life. Third party data is stored and utilized as an electronic address book, and may contain the names, titles, addresses, phone numbers, emails, photos, and related information such as personal notes about people and places in your life. By loading the information into the platform, we are able to present that information to you on your Android application in a way that makes it easier for you to access and utilize that information.
People and places that could be entered, as examples, are information about people who provide you transportation, people that you would contact in an emergency, people that you interact with at work, school, or home, your medical professionals, your place of worship or local police or fire department.
Third party data entered into the LeanOnMe platform is used solely to provide this contact information to you, the User, within the Android app. Personally identifiable third party information will not be sold or repurposed.
However, there is an exception for aggregate third party data once Personally Identifiable Information has been removed, discussed further below.
FULL ACCESS TO ALL DATA
By installing and utilizing the platform, you give Viscient LLC and our partners broad permission access all information entered by anyone into your account as well as collected by any systems as well as any recordable activity within our platform in order to:
- Provide features and services to you and to others with defined roles within the platform
- Analyze your usage to provide usage specific features and adaptations
- Create and maintain your records
- Backup and restore data
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support
- Reach out to you, your Account Manager, and your Designees
- Otherwise maintain your account and the platform
For all raw data collected on the platform through direct entry or via data monitoring of the Android App, Web App, and Database, we may aggregate that raw data such that Personally Identifiable Information has been removed or obscured, and we may use that aggregate data in any way that benefits us or the platform. Examples of this type of aggregate use include: number of times the software is accessed per day, features that are used, duration of sessions using the software, metrics related to the app, web client, or database, number of Drivers per client, number of Helpers in the database.
This aggregate data allows us to understand how the platform is being utilized, what is successful, what might need redesigned, to use that data to help us seek additional funding, and to drive our future research and development efforts, among other possible uses.
ACCOUNT MANGER AND DESIGNEE PII EXCEPTION
Our handling of the Personally Identifiable Information and data related to Account Managers and Designees works differently than Users. By using our platform, Account Managers and Designees give us permission to utilize their personally identifiable contact information to:
- Make contact related to managing or funding the User’s account
- Provide outage and update information related to the LeanOnMe platform
- Request feedback on current and future modifications to the platform
- Verify your authority to access or make changes to any account data
FLOW OF DATA
Your Account Managers and their Designees load your personal data to our servers by entering and uploading it on our website’s forms.
These forms place your data into our database server, where it is stored for you for as long as you have an active account.
By logging into the LeanOnMe app on your Android device with your credentials, you give us permission to synchronize (download) your personal information to your Android device and enable that device for you. You also give us permission to collect information on how you utilize the App, transmitting information back to our servers to provide statistics and success/failure information.
By installing and utilizing our platform, you give us permission to collect and use information about the duration and frequency at which you use our platform’s features. This allows us to better understand which features are getting utilized and which may need to be improved, or which features might be better grouped for different categories of clients.
ANDROID APP MONITORING
In many cases it is desirable for the Account Manager or Designees to install additional copies of the LeanOnMe application onto their own personal devices using your login credentials – so they can see what you will see. This is allowed, but all parties need to understand that activating features such as “I’m Hurt” will appear to be coming from you, the User, and could create alarm amongst other family members that receive notifications!
There is no benefit to providing your login credentials to any other end-users, and this is expressly forbidden to protect the confidentiality of a user. Violation of this limitation will result in your being banned from the platform without refund.
DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT AND DATA
If you wish to delete your account, you must send a written request to email@example.com. At this time we may take up to three months to process the removal of the data (we hope to improve this over time with automation). In no case will refunds be provided.
Use of this platform is licensed, not sold, and we retain all rights to TBD…

The platform is provided solely on an as-is, as available basis, and it is up to you, the end User, together with your Account Manager, to determine if this platform is safe for you to utilize at any given point in time and for any specific purpose. TO BE CLEAR, FAILURES MAY OCCUR FROM TIME TO TIME DUE TO GLOBAL POSITIONING SERVICES, INTERNET CONNECTIVITY, DEVICE HARDWARE, SYSTEM OR SOFTWARE UPGRADES, SOFTWARE BUGS, SERVERS, DATABASES, WEB APPLICATIONS, ANDROID APPLICATIONS, AND RELATED TECHNOLOGIES. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO TOLERATE THESE SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS AND FAILURES. IF YOU WOULD BECOME UNSAFE OR HARMED IN THE EVENT OF FAILURES WITHIN THE PLATFORM, YOU SHOULD NOT USE THE PLATFORM. BY USING THE PLATFORM, YOU AGREE TO HOLD VISCIENT LLC AND ITS PARTNERS HARMLESS FOR ANY PLATFORM FAILURES.
While the stated goal of creating this platform is to increase an end User’s access to and accessibility of their own information in order to extend their independence, THIS PLATFORM CANNOT GUARENTEE ANY LEVEL OF SAFETY OR EVEN SUPPORT FOR ANY SPECIFIC USER. YOU MUST DECIDE IF YOU ARE AN APPROPRIATE USER OF THIS PLATFORM UNDER THESE CONDITIONS.
