I’m Hurt – Injury Self-Announcement of Placement, Intensity, and Current Location
Communicating injuries can be difficult for people with cognitive differences in calls or texts, but it doesn’t have to be.
- Users and Helpers BOTH need a clear way to communicate the placement and severity of an injury while apart
- Users touch WHERE they are hurt, then touch HOW BAD they are hurt
- An automated email to the Helper shows the pain location, pain level, AND the User’s location on Google Maps
Call an ambulance? Drive over? Call them? Talk about it over dinner? Is the User having head pain at 10/10, or a recurring knee injury at 2/10? You decide with easily understood communication!
LeanOnMe Help Menu
The “I’m Hurt” feature makes it easy for non-verbal or low-verbal users to report injuries, while the I’m Lost feature helps get users back to a known, safe place.
